The peak of the mountain marks the point where the borders of five municipalities and one city meet (listed in clockwise direction, starting north): GoaTigaonOcampoPiliNaga City, and Calabanga.

Mount Iriga, also known as Mount Asog, is one of the active volcanoes in the Philippines, in the province of Camarines Sur, in the Philippines.
Mount Iriga is a stratovolcano about a kilometre from Lake Buhi. It rises 1,196 m (3,924 ft) with a base diameter of 10 kilometres.

Mount Masaraga is a forested, sharp-topped, mountain with an elevation of 1,328 metres (4,357 ft) asl. It is adjacent and the closest to the perfect cone of Mayon Volcano.
Mt. Masaraga is the third of three mountains that comprise the 'Magayon Trio' or the three beautiful mountains of Albay: Mayon, Malinao, and Masaraga. Little-known to outsiders, it has revealed itself to be one of Bicol's best-kept hiking secrets, with stunning views of Mt. Mayon, and, as the guides (and the blogger) discovered in April 2011, its summit possesses equally spectacular views of the north, revealing Mt. Isarog, Mt. Asog, and Lake Buhi.
